Little League opens its season at Bonneau Park today at 9 a.m. In addition to the novice division, there is T-ball for 6-8-year-olds; a minor division for 9-10-year-olds; major division for 11-12-year-olds, and a senior division squad for 14-16-year-olds.
The league has planned several fund-raisers this season and some are sure to cause a splash. Tomorrow LL will be selling tickets to "dunk your coach or an executive member." The event will take place from 4-6 p.m. at Buddy's. All proceeds from this exercise will go towards Little League baseball.
Next weekend, LL players will be washing cars in the Canadian Tire parking lot from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
